Dropping Dimes
A few nice assists from the young up and coming players for team USA –
DeAndre Yedlin gave this beauty of a game winning assist in Newcastle’s opening goal of their win against Cardiff City.
Christian Pulisic did some poaching work taking the ball off the back line and handing off to a red hot Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his 4th goal of the game.
Back home Jordan Morris had a nifty assist to increase the lead in their first leg of the MLS Western Conference finals.
Jozy Altidore added another one to open up the flood of scoring against NYFC as they wiped them out 5-0 for a total of 7-0 aggregate. It certainly helps when you have Sebastian Giovinco on the receiving end of your passes and what he can do with the ball, but it was a heads up play by Jozy and a well weighted pass in the end.
Andrew Wooten added a goal and assist to round out a great weekend of dimes. Andrew’s assist is in the first minute and tucked away the winner in the 73rd if you want to watch the full highlights.
