Pulisic saves Dortmund Embarrassment
Christian Pulisic rescues a point for Dortmund, delivering an assist to cut the lead to 3-2 and then in 91st minute putting the ball in the back of the net himself. Pulisic brought great energy and served as super-sub for Dortmund in a game they should have well put away long before.
FC Ingolstadt was in the basement, dead last, in the Bundesliga. They came out passionate at home and had their first goal in the first five minutes of the game. Dortmund looked flat for long parts of the game, but Pulisic brought great energy to the game. While his assist may have been a bit of luck, he continued to put himself in good position for good things to happen. He did well to pursue the shot and be in the right place at the right time to tie the game up.
