The Underdog Soccer Podcast explores the USMNT that are in the Bundesliga. The Bundesliga will be the first league in the world to get started again this coming Saturday. Here’s the schedule.

We break down the German Bundesliga table from bottom to top. Including main stays like Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and John Brooks to the younger players like Chris Richards.

“Right off the bat I could tell this kid’s got something really, really good,” Quill told Goal . “But he hadn’t grown into his body much. He was sort of gangly. The body type that I could see some people not thinking he could play.” 

“His ability to see the field and break lines with his passing – he’s a high-level passer from the back – and he’s just an athletic freak,” Quill said. “He can jump through the roof. He’s just a kid you could see a real high ceiling with.”

“There have been cool little milestones I’ve hit so far.” He swapped another jersey for Kylian Mbappe’s shirt when Dortmund took on PSG in the Champions League round of 16. “That was pretty amazing.”

This a great place to start for USMNT fans who don’t follow the German league very closely. Upwards of 30 players have been in the Bundesliga the past few years and their scouting in the US Development system is well documented.

“It’s great [having so many Americans in the Bundesliga],” he said as a guest on Fox Sports on Saturday. “The Bundesliga’s a very athletic league, it’s a very high tempo league so the players are forced to make decisions very quickly. It’s been fun watching our guys. It’s been great following them.”
